Unreal Tournament 2007
What is it? You must have heard of this one - possibly the biggest hitting game for the next-generation platforms, this multiplayer fragfest has had people talking for months. Expect a similar game to its predecessors, except better graphics and more intensity. It looks amazing.
Why we're excited: Some may accuse FPS multplayer games as being a bit samey - however, this one really symbolises the step up in graphics for me. I want to be physically petrified when I get shot by my friend in a clan match, something Unreal Tournament '07 looks like it might actually provide.
Quake Wars: Enemy Territory
What is it? Quake meets Battlefield in this epic, massively-online, FPS battle. Finally we can settle the long running war between Strogg and Marine in the way it should be settled, hours of destruction in front of a PC on an online server against people in far off countries. The game has had a number of trailers showing huge vehicles and weapons reaking havok across war torn landscapes. Enemy Territory will feature a unique style of play, requiring you to gain and hold territory as you move fowards across the massive maps.

Why we're excited: Quake is a bit of an office favourite at the moment, and the idea of crossing it with Battlefield, although not all that original, is quite frankly superb. Quake has always been brilliant in multiplayer deathmatch, it will be really interesting to see how it plays out over a larger scale.
